tropicanaEnjoy the dazzling spectacle of the Tropicana Cabaret. This cabaret is a legend in the history of musical shows. Internationally known as “The most attractive and sumptuous night club in the world”, it overflows the magic of super productions, combined with glamor, sensuality and color. A lush tropical forest becomes the perfect scenery for hundreds of artists, thus how the “paradise under the stars” was born. It is one of the places most demanded by tourists.

Drop by the Parisien Cabaret. It is a place with style similar to Tropicana, located in the neighborhood of Vedado, but much cheaper. It offers a great “Cuban, Cuban” Show, showing the fusion of the Indo-American, Hispanic and African cultures, cause of the mixture of the Cuban culture. This place is good for practicing the salsa steps you are learning. You can dine at any restaurant inside the Hotel Nacional and then have fun at the Parisien.

Visit La Zorra y el Cuervo. If jazz is your thing, not salsa, you cannot leave without visiting this place in the neighborhood of Vedado a few meters from the hotels Saint John’s and Habana Libre. It is the best jazz venue on the island. It is located in the basement of a residential building on the central Rampa, on 23rd street. Access is through a unique red telephone booth, icon of the city of London and its best way to represent urbanity and movement.

Meet The One-Eye Cat. It is a historic bar that is very close to the Hotel Nacional and the Malecon sea wall. It has a few tables, smells of the famous Habanos, walls covered with mirrors, a small stage and dim light. In its beginnings it was a meeting place and gathering of Havana intellectuals and artists, today, an interesting mixture of tourists and Cubans.

In Obispo Street, on the other hand, you can find numerous bars and restaurants. Nearby you will find the Restaurant-Bar El Floridita, known as “La cuna del daiquiri”, taste the cocktail of the house and look for La Bodeguita del Medio. Both have a typical Cuban atmosphere and delicious cuisine.
Cuban night usually starts at ten. It ends when the last customer leaves. In addition to bars and nightclubs, Havana´s nightlife offers endless concerts of music, theater and dance. Take a tour around it and enjoy one of them.
